We aim to operate from seed to product to make the cleanest sunscreen available, while helping to protect our environment. From the farm where raw ingredients are harvested, all the way through manufacturing, onto shelves and right into your pack.  This is the kind of business that inspires the world around us, and we need more of it. Sea & Summit gives you the freedom to purchase products out of inspiration based on your personal values, not manipulation by sales tactics. We're more than a brand, we're a lifestyle. Feel good about what you are putting on your body, and where it’s coming from.

“The 3 pillars of sustainability: society, the environment, and the economy.”

When I read the ingredients of a product and can easily recognize them, where they’re coming from, and how they benefit my body, I’m in. However, too often the word “sustainable” is  used without cause to back its true meaning. In ecology, “sustainability is the capacity to endure; it is how biological systems remain diverse and productive indefinitely.” Sure, some companies can remain productive indefinitely with their deep pockets, but are they considering their environmental impact as well? We are damaging and taking more from our planet than Mother Nature can sustainably restore. This remains OUR greatest social challenge. Too many products are labeled with sustainable tags that do not fulfill sustainability’s true meaning. As businesses and consumers alike, we need to look further than a one-time analysis or catchy print on a package, and dig into a product’s footprint. This requires due diligence not only from the brand, but from the consumer too. In doing so, we will discover brands we can trust to make the right decisions over and over again. Count on Sea & Summit to be more than a brand, but a lifestyle you can confide in.
Though a small fish in a big pond now, Sea & Summit will continue to challenge the status quo and overcome obstacles trying to stray us from our values. With your support and belief in us, we will accomplish what we all want in a brand and moreover, a lifestyle. We’re not perfect, nor will we ever be. We will make mistakes, learn, adapt, and move forward. There is always another step to take, and then another.
